Current Opportunities for Our Students

Austria Family Music Program (6/1/24 – 6/14/24)

The Southeast School of Music is excited to offer its music students a joint certificate program with Salzburg College in Austria. This family music program will be held June 1 – 14, 2024. Registration is now open, welcoming participants of all ages and instruments.

During this two-week trip to Austria, students will take private music lessons with Salzburg College instructors and attend course-related excursions to various Salzburg, Austria historic locations.

The students will receive a joint certificate from the Southeast School of Music and Salzburg College upon completion of the program, and two transferable credits that can be applied to any college major.

Program Requirements

  • Must complete six music lessons while on the trip.
  • Perform a minimum of one recital piece.
  • Attend course-related excursions such as a day trip to the Vienna State Opera, museums and more.
  • Receive a Salzburg College/Southeast School of Music Joint Certificate upon program completion.
  • Receive two transferable credits that can be applied to any college major.

What’s Included

  • Six lessons.
  • One recital.
  • Space at Salzburg College for classrooms, rehearsal, and recital.
  • Weekly bus passes, train transportation, and excursions.
  • All excursion fees (i.e. entrance fees).

Continuing Education Program (6/1/24 – 6/14/24)

The Southeast School of Music is proud to offer a Continuing Education Program for adult students, which is a two-week trip to Salzburg, Austria to take a class on “Three Viennese Composers”, Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. During the trip, the students will go on course-related excursions.

The Continuing Education Program is scheduled for June 1 to June 14, 2024.
