The Southeast School of Music provides private in home private drum lessons for kids and adults in Atlanta, Alpharetta, Cumming, Duluth, John’s Creek, Lawrenceville, Marietta, Roswell, and Suwanee, Georgia. We also provide online music lessons if that is more accomodating to your schedule.

Drum Lessons for Kids & Adults

We offer private drum lessons to kids and adults. Whether you’re a a beginner looking to learn the basics, or an intermediate drummer looking to enhance your technique and expand your musical vocabulary, our instructors are passionate about helping you become the best drummer you can be.

Our Approach

Our drum lessons cover various musical genres, including rock, jazz, funk, Latin, and more. We focus on fundamental techniques, rudiments, coordination exercises, reading drum notation, and groove development, to give you a solid foundation in express yourself through rhythm.

We understand that every drummer has unique goals and musical interests, whether it be aspiring to join a band, playing in a professional setting, or just enjoying jamming with friends. We tailor our lessons to the specific goals you want to achieve.

Flexible Teaching Schedule

Our drum lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes long, which allows for a customized learning experience based on your age, skill level and individual preference. The one-on-one sessions allow our instructors to focus on your needs, and provide personalized guidance, feedback, and support to help you develop your drumming skills.

We offer drum rental and purchase options to accomodate your needs.
